These are some of the questions we get asked the most about VO Rocket, the course for building and launching your VO business.

Q: Who is this course for? Do I have to already be an actor, or can a complete beginner take this course?

A: A lot of the information will be new to everybody, actor and non-actor alike. There are so many genres of voiceover available that there's a very good chance that you’ll find a genre for you.

Q: When, where, and how much is it?

A: VO Rocket Ship is a pre-recorded course that you can take at your leisure on this site by logging into your library. There are 10+ hours of material in the course, plus interviews and helpful links to articles and videos that will inspire you even further. All of it costs only $347!

Q: Do I need to have a recording setup before we begin?

A: Absolutely not! In fact, PART TWO of the VO Rocket Ship is all about tech! We have made a deal with Sweetwater to get special gear bundles at a discounted price. This isn’t an affiliate program. We don’t make any money if you buy gear from Sweetwater.

If you already have a killer setup, no worries! There’s always something new to learn!

Q: Will this all be pre-recorded, where I just do everything on my own?

A: Yes, you learn at your leisure. If you would like to take one-on-one lessons with Joshua, brushing up on your performance skills, prepping for an audition, getting ready to record your demo, etc. You can purchase a 4-pack of lessons HERE an individual lesson HERE!

Q: Does my purchase include any live sessions?

A: No, but if you purchase the Nitro Booster Pack (only $150 when purchased with VO Rocket Ship), you'll not only get a one-hour, one-on-one lesson with Joshua but also access to direct marketing templates and entry into a casting email list where Joshua will share auditions to fun projects you might find interesting.

Q: What is the Nitro Booster Pack?

A: This is an upgrade package for VO Rocket Ship. You can get it for $150 if you purchase along with VO Rocket Ship. (Otherwise, it is $225.) It includes:

A one-hour one-on-one coaching session with me after you’ve finished the course. You wanna talk tech, we’ll talk tech. You want coaching in a specific genre, we’ll hone skills so you can be more prepared for the next audition. Do you have an audition that you want me to coach you through? We can do that, too. Whatever you need from me, the hour is yours.
Inclusion in a private email list for audition opportunities. These are sharable auditions found in various ways that may be of interest to you. (NOTE: We are not acting as your agent! We are only sharing information.)

Q: Can I actually book work with what I learn in the course?

A: That depends on you and the work you put into it. We cannot guarantee your success, but we can give you a fighting chance at it! There is a call for every kind of voice. Some voices may be called for more than others at different times in different genres. There are trends that come and go, and all you can do is ride that wave! If you are a student of the industry, you will be more likely to find genres that fit your voice and style. It is recommended that you continue your education after VO Rocket Ship and get specialized training in the specific genre(s) you wish to pursue.
